The newly elected senator showed up at his home town high school with a police escort. He walked inside to brag to the current principal about his success. Before he could speak, the principal rushed up to him and asked, excitedly, "So, are you a politician now?" "Yes," he said proudly. "I am now a Senator. Did you see me on the news?" "No, I noticed the police outside," the principal explained. "And, if you want to sneak out the back, I'll try to hold them off."
